Remove ums and false starts

Turn on cleanup to remove ums and false starts before the text appears. utt only accepts edits that delete words or add punctuation. If the model changes anything else, utt keeps the original transcript.

Parakeet is ready out of the box, and Whisper is included too. Choose the model you prefer. utt downloads it once and keeps it on your Mac.

Send it a clip from anywhere

Turn on the API to send audio from your phone, a script, or another app. utt transcribes it on your Mac and returns the text.

Add your own extensions

Extensions connect programs running on your Mac to utt. Add one manifest file and utt builds the settings page, then saves the user's choices for your program to read. Nothing is shared until the user approves the extension.
